Frequently Asked
Questions

Where are the classes held?

Shop 6, 6 West Street in The West Street Arcade across the road from Brumby’s and a few doors down from McCarthy's.

I’m a total beginner, do I need any experience in Martial Arts or combat sports to join KickFit Haven?

No. Our beginner friendly classes are suitable for all women of any fitness and skill level. Everyone is encouraged to train at their own pace/within their abilities.

Do I need to be fit to train Muay Thai?

Absolutely not! You get fit, by doing!

Are there any spots left available?

We get asked this a lot. We only advertise limited spots when we’re offering a promo, otherwise we welcome new members all the time and our classes run all year round.

Do you have classes for children or men?

As a female training facility, we don’t have any group training services for men, but we do offer PT and Small Group Training, by request. As for children, you can register your interest for future children’s classes to be the first to know.

Are there lock-in contracts?

We don’t have any joining fees, cancellation fees or long term lock in contracts. We understand life gets busy and circumstances can change, which is why we offer a 12 week minimum investment. That’s a short term commitment, but long enough to start seeing results. Most people stay beyond the 12 weeks, but our cancellation policy is very reasonable and there are no hidden fees.

Do I need to bring anything to class with me?

Hand Wraps, boxing gloves and shin guards are required to participate in Striking classes, but we are happy to loan gear for your first few classes. Otherwise, just a gym towel and a water bottle.

Is Personal Training available?

Yes, personal training is available, by request.

What happens to my membership if I get sick with COVID?

Notify KickFit Haven ASAP to discuss.

Do I need to book in to attend classes?

Yes, bookings are mandatory; your booking is your confirmation of attendance. Please book via the PTMinder app to secure your spot in the class.

Can I still come to the gym if I am sick?

Just like schools and workplaces, to minimise the risk of transmission and protect the health and safety of all members, it is recommended that you stay home until you are feeling better/are no longer symptomatic.

Can I temporarily pause my membership if I get injured or if i'm going away for on holidays?

If you are interested in more information on how to suspend membership or put a hold on your account, you’ll need to contact KickFit Haven directly.

Do you offer casual classes?

Need more flexibility or are you just visiting? Ask us about our flexible membership options.
